I had pictures of this deer for 3 years on trail cams all over my property. We called him The Landlord because he walked all around the property like he owned the place. I had never actually seen him until the morning I took him with a Stryker Solution LS crossbow shooting bolts with Swhacker broadheads.
When recovered he had a brand new slice from an arrow across his shoulders, where another hunter had nicked him the night before, or earlier that morning. Without this bit of luck I might have just never seen him again and always wondered what happened to him.

Cat Spring Bucketmouth
I was fishing the late morning when I kept seeing the water wake and splash on a shallow flat.I had envisioned that there was bass trying to keep predators off her bed. The only predator I had on me was an H2O Express hollow boviedo frog. (The full size). I was kickingles myself in the foot, I had left my dooms day turtles at home seeing as turtles were the natural predator in the area. I tied on my frog filled it with water and casted right over the action to the bang. I popped and dragged the frog of the bank for nearly a half hour. Finally I got her upset and she destroyed the frog like a tarpon then diving deep into some cover. Rod bent, I landed her and the cover she sought. What a whopper!

Brothers and Bruin
475 pounds of tooth fang and claw!
My biggest Maine bear ever.
Taken with a little Ruger .44 mag carbine, hunting over hounds with Chad Deabay and Jeff Lavway of Oxbow Outfitters.
The dogs treed this great bear many hundreds of yards up into the thick stuff of the Oxbow area in Northern Maine.
Tough hike in, tricky shot, and a hardcore hike out with meat and head and hide.
My brother took a nice bear on this trip as well.
Epic hunt with great guides and dogs.

Great Surfin’ Reds
Decided to cast net for some fresh bait and caught everything from finger mullet to shrimp. I caught a variety of reds ranging from 24 to 27 inches on the major period for the day in the surf. Great weather and good times for Some Fish before Easter Sunday !
