Adidas Horizor Sunglasses
Sunglasses are a perennial product line, with styles changing at just the right pace for there to always be something new coming down the pike. One of the new-new things is the Adidas sunglasses line. We’ve been using the polarized Horizor for a month now, and they quickly became our daily drivers. Why? For that you must read on, my patience-impaired friend.
But you don’t have to read long: the bottom line is the Horizor ends up on our face because it’s stylish, lightweight, has good optics and provides a picture-window like view thanks to its minimalist frame and large, wrap-around lenses. One thing we usually dislike about larger lenses is they can ride on our dainty, rose-tinted cheeks, but the Horizors stay off the face and on the nose as they should. The traction pads on the nose and arms provide solid retention without being overly sticky, and the overall design of the Horizor can be summed up in one word: seamless. They just work.
The Horizors are in Adidas’ Sport Essentials lineup, which are basically a performance/lifestyle lineup with eleven different models and many different lenses to choose from. For pure performance you can step up to the Sport line, which we hope to review soon. Either way you’re getting some stylish, solid eyewear that won’t steer you wrong.
