Video: Police Find Man Nailed to Tree; Anti-Hunters to Blame?
A really wild story out of New Mexico has surfaced online, after KRQE News 13 obtained police video showing the moment officers found a man in the woods with both of his hands nailed to a tree and screaming for help.
“He kept yelling, ‘Help. Help.’ and so I came and I saw him, and I kind of freaked out because I didn’t know if there was any other guys around,” a city worker told police as he described the scene when he first discovered the man.
Jose Duran was the man nailed to the tree; he was still conscious, breathing, but refusing to say what happened to him or how he got there.
After dozens of paramedics worked for hours to get Duran off the tree, he started to give authorities subtle details about a real estate deal gone wrong, and insisted it wasn’t drug or cartel-related.
Could this be the most extreme case of anti-hunter payback ever seen?
So far, no arrests have been made, and at this time, police haven’t released many details on the case. As we’ve all witnessed, those antis have done some pretty wacky stuff, and although even this seems a bit above their heads, it shouldn’t get swept under the rug . . .
