New Radian Weapons Raptor-LT – Lower cost ambidextrous charging handle

I’ll start and say I really like the Radian Weapons Ambidextrous charging handles. In fact, I think all my AR-15s and my only AR-10 have them now.

That has left a rather deep hole in my pocket, but helps with one of the weak designs of the AR-15. Plus they look and function really well (I still want the Golden Dictator version).

I have yet to destroy a Raptor, and I use them for competition, they’re perfect for the Option 2 and 3 starts with an empty chamber.

At 59,95 USD, the new Raptor-LT leaves a smaller hole in the pocket than all other Raptors. What’s the catch?

I haven’t seen one to be able to compare side-by-side with the normal Raptor, but apart from the CNC machined aluminum base, the LT is over-moulded with polymer. Sounds like a Glock to me, so what’s not to like?

At the moment only black is available. But there will be a bunch of colors to chose from as long as you speak Magpul.

Check the video. In fact, I think the LT might offer an advantage over the normal aluminum, as the polymer might offer just a bit better grip than metal?

The color coding with polymer should work better than anodized aluminum as well, where you might end up with some surprising batch problems.
