Today in history: Deer hunting prohibited for five years in Wexford
The killing of deer in Wexford County was prohibited for five years by action of the board of supervisors at the session yesterday. The season on deer has heretofore been open in this county in accordance with the state game laws and several fine specimens have been taken each year in this vicinity.
