Inland Manufacturing

Inland Manufacturing announced another firearm that it will be offering in the near future. Called the Inland Motor Patrol (IMP) pistol, the new handgun appears to be based on the recently announced M30-P. Differentiating itself from the M30-P, the M30-IMP has a shorter barrel and no arm brace.

The IMP pistol is chambered for the .30 Carbine cartridge and uses M1 Carbine compatible magazines. A single 10-round magazine ships with the handgun. This gun uses a 7.5″ long barrel that is threaded for the use of a muzzle device. No device is included, but Inland Manufacturing does provide a thread protector.

Like the M30-P, the M30-IMP uses a specially designed variation of the Sage Enhanced Battle Rifle chassis. The chassis is made of aluminum and has a black anodized finish. The handguard section of the chassis has a Picatinny rail in the top position for the addition of a red dot or other optic if you desire. Inland Manufacturing does equip the gun with M1 Carbine style sights.

Overall, the gun is 16″ long and weighs about 4.5 pounds.

A specific release date has not yet been announced for the IMP pistol. Instead the company simply states the gun will be “available soon.” The projected suggested retail price of the new handgun will be $1,399.
