Although an overwhelming majority of Missouri’s firearms deer hunters respond with a resounding "so what," they’ll still have 14 more days later in the year to ply their craft after the November portion of the firearms deer season closes on November 21. I’m a fanatic firearms deer hunter, so I’ll be afield, toting some type of firearm, during the antlerless portion and at least a few days during the alternative methods portion. Even so, I’ll concede there are several at least quasi-valid reasons to say enough is enough after the frantic pace of the November portion is over.
