New LUTH-AR Lower Receiver Enhancement Kit

Luth-AR now offers an AR-15 lower receiver enhancement kit which consists of three replacement parts including their “Switch” extended safety selector, “Paddle” oversized bolt catch and “Wide Body” trigger guard. All of them are drop-in parts.

The Switch extended safety selector is made of 8620 steel and has a manganese phosphate finish. It is marketed as most suitable for competition shooting where the speed of manipulations is important as well as for tactical use where the extended lever is a benefit when working with gloved hands.

The Paddle oversized bolt catch is made of the same steel and features the same finish as the Switch safety selector. The Paddle has an extended bolt release and bolt catch portions both of which have serrated surfaces.

The WIde Body trigger guard is 40% wider than the stock AR-15 trigger guard and measures .625″ at the widest point. It also has a raised internal geometry which is designed to assist positioning the shooter’s finger on the trigger for the sake of consistency. This part is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and has a black matte hard coat anodized finish.

The MSRP of Luth-AR lower receiver enhancement kit is $49.95. If purchased separately, the safety selector, bolt catch and trigger guard of the kit cost $19.95, $19.95 and $14.95 respectively, which sums into $54.85. So, if purchasing as a kit, you’ll save $4.9.

I think Luth-AR needs to design an extended magazine release button with the same minimalistic yet efficient approach. That could make a full upgrade kit for the lower receiver.
