DNR officials remind hunters of safety measures after dog shoots hunter
KIMT NEWS 3 – After an unusual incident involving a hunter a being shot by a dog while out hunting DNR officials are making sure that hunters are being reminded of safety measures. DNR officials say on November 28th, at the Boone River Greenbelt Conservation Public Hunting Area -four hunters were out pheasant hunting with two dogs when a hunter was struck in the back by a bird shot pellet from a 12-gauge shotgun.
